The robot features a friendlier appearance with a rounded head and simple animated eyes. Its torso is covered with soft materials and equipped with two robotic arms for household tasks. Mounted on a motorized mobile base with a telescopic column, Isaac 1 can move throughout a home while adjusting its height from 0.9 m to 1.75 m, allowing it to work with furniture and objects at different levels.

Compared with the stationary Isaac 0, which is primarily designed to fold laundry at a table, Isaac 1 offers significantly greater mobility. The additional movement enables it to perform a broader range of household activities instead of remaining in a fixed location.

Like its predecessor, however, Isaac 1 is not fully autonomous in every situation. Some tasks may still require remote assistance from a human operator who views the environment through the robot's cameras and helps complete more complex actions. While this approach allows the robot to handle situations that remain difficult for current artificial intelligence systems, it may not suit every household.
According to Weave Robotics, the earlier Isaac 0 has already been deployed in homes and businesses across California since its launch in February. Experience gained from those deployments has contributed to the development of the new model.

The company has also refined the robot's overall design, giving Isaac 1 a more polished appearance than its predecessor. Future firmware updates are expected to expand its capabilities over time, reflecting Weave Robotics' plan to continuously improve the platform after deployment.

Although fully autonomous household robots remain a work in progress, Isaac 1 demonstrates how quickly the field is evolving. By combining laundry folding, room tidying, and bed making in a single mobile platform, the robot represents another step toward more versatile home assistants capable of supporting everyday household routines.
