The name “V to V” refers to “vehicle to vehicle,” reflecting the scooter's role as a link between a primary vehicle and the actual destination. It is not positioned as a replacement for bicycles or public transport. Instead, the concept focuses on situations where drivers have to park several blocks away and need a compact way to continue the journey.

Its folding mechanism is central to the design. The scooter folds through three stages until it becomes small enough to carry in one hand. That makes it easier to take up stairs, into elevators, through office corridors or across shop floors, rather than leaving it outside and relying on a lock or parking infrastructure.

When folded, a folio-style side cover wraps around the chassis. It conceals the hinge mechanism and helps keep users' hands away from grease and dirt. The resulting rectangular, briefcase-like form is an intentional part of the concept. Instead of looking like something that needs to be parked outdoors, the folded scooter is designed to behave more like an everyday item that can accompany its owner indoors.
A vertically oriented smart display sits in the center of the handlebar. It shows battery level, remaining range, current speed and turn-by-turn navigation prompts, with information supplied through a companion app. The interface is designed for quick viewing while riding, reducing the need to take out a smartphone for basic navigation information.

The physical construction follows the same restrained philosophy. The chassis is machined from aluminum, while the number of individual components is kept relatively low. Deployment and folding use the same three-step sequence each time, creating a repeatable routine for daily use.

The VtoV 1000 therefore focuses on a very specific mobility problem rather than trying to redefine urban transportation. Its more interesting proposition comes when the scooter is folded: instead of becoming another vehicle that has to be stored or secured outside, it becomes a compact object that can be carried into the destination.

That combination of personal mobility and everyday portability is what sets the concept apart from conventional foldable scooters.
