A built-in liveness detection feature further improves security by ensuring that only a living hand can activate the scanner.

The TCL Home application allows homeowners to manage access permissions for multiple users, add or remove registered profiles remotely, and receive real-time notifications whenever the door is opened. For visitors or individuals without a registered palm profile, the lock also supports alternative access methods, including key cards, a physical key, and a backup keypad.

Built for outdoor installation, the D2 Pro features an aerospace-grade aluminum alloy body with an IP55 weather-resistance rating. It is designed to operate in temperatures ranging from -25°C to 70°C and is powered by a rechargeable 10,000mAh battery that can deliver up to eight months of operation per charge through a USB-C charging interface.
