Currently featured on Kickstarter, the GoBrew is a 10-ounce (296-ml) "smart" insulated coffee mug that connects via Bluetooth to an app on iOS or Android devices.

Users can select a recipe from the app, which specifies how much coffee to use. As coffee beans are added to the mug, the display and the app show the increasing weight in real time. Once the desired amount is reached, the beans are ground using a separate portable grinder, which users need to supply themselves. Alternatively, they can bring pre-ground coffee, although it won't be as fresh.

After grinding, the coffee is placed in a dripper lined with a filter, which sits on top of the mug. While any dripper can work, iKoffy offers an optional collapsible version. Freshly boiled water is added next, with the app guiding the process by tracking the amount of water and brewing time. Users can also create their own custom brews and save their recipes in the app.

The mug itself features a double-walled stainless steel body with an enamel exterior and a ceramic-lined interior. Its conical shape is said to improve coffee flow, enhancing aroma and flavor. The polycarbonate lid seals with a silicone gasket, ensuring it’s leakproof. The mug is designed to cool hot liquids to a drinkable 80ºC (176ºF) and maintain the temperature for up to five hours.
