The design has also been refreshed with a textured rear panel inspired by the appearance of travel luggage. Available in four color options—Plum, Stone, Shell, and Custard—the device presents a more distinctive look than many traditional monochrome e-readers.

One of the most notable additions is support for the BOOX InkSense Plus stylus. The active pen offers 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity, enabling users to annotate books, mark up PDF documents, and create handwritten notes directly on the screen. Stylus support remains uncommon among 6-inch e-readers, making this feature a significant enhancement for productivity-focused users.

The Go 6 (Gen II) runs Android 11 and includes full access to the Google Play Store. This allows readers to install popular reading applications such as Kindle, Kobo, Libby, and many others. BOOX’s built-in NeoReader application supports more than 20 document formats, including PDF, EPUB, MOBI, and DJVU, while also offering a dark mode option for low-light reading environments.

Designed for portability, the device weighs just 160 grams and measures only 6.8 mm thick. It includes 32 GB of internal storage, expandable through a microSD card slot, and features a USB-C port that can also support wired audio connections. Powered by a 1,500 mAh battery and the energy-efficient nature of E Ink technology, the BOOX Go 6 (Gen II) is built to deliver extended reading sessions without frequent charging.
