Children up to the age of 12, who are at least 1.2m tall will be able to take part. Children aged 13 and above can join our Pretty Muddy® events!

Adults accompanying children will run alongside the course, but will not be allowed to take part on the obstacles.

Each child should have a parent or guardian taking part alongside them. The parent or guardian will go round the course with their child but won't go over the obstacles (unless needed to assist!). If a child can't complete an obstacle, they can move on to the next one.

The parent or guardian will have a blank running number, on which they can add the running numbers of up to three children they are looking after on the day.

All of the Pretty Muddy Kids events are approximately 5km.

Obstacle layouts vary from venue to venue, but the organizers try to make sure all children get to have a go on the muddy slide at the end.
