Launched in July 2018, IPTSE or Intellectual Property Talent Search Examination is an IP Talent Search Exam for Intellectual Property Rights in India that tests the knowledge of an individual on patents, designs, copyright, designs, geographical indications and trade secret. IPTSE is administered by IPTSE Academy and is supported by industry bodies, ERICSSON, Government departments and other prominent educational institutions, to raise IP awareness in India.
IPTSE seeks to generate awareness about Intellectual Property and benefits of IPR among students and young working professionals. Further, it also aims to promote a creative mindset amongst individuals. From those still studying to those who have begun their professional journeys, everyone can benefit from the exam as well as the course curriculum.
As the focus on innovation, research and creation increases, it’s extremely important to foster a creative and innovative spirit among school students. Experts believe it’s crucial for students to know their way around Intellectual Property Rights. Apart from the many benefits of IPR, students can learn about the ways in which they can safeguard their creations, giving them a competitive edge over their peers.
Considering the global and national importance of Intellectual Property, schools & universities, can also create awareness among their students and encourage them to register and participate in the examination. Students belonging to grades IX-XII, undergraduate and polytechnic students as well as faculty, start-ups, working professionals & SMEs are eligible to enroll for IPTSE.
