( Legrand is a French industrial group historically based in Limoges in the Limousin region.

Legrand SA is a holding company, which engages in the manufacture of electrical and digital building infrastructures. Its services include the provision of control and command of electric power, cable management, power distribution, and voice-data-image distribution. The company was founded in 1926.

Legrand is one of the world’s global specialists in electrical and digital building infrastructures, and they’ve built up a store of unique expertise in regional and national standards everywhere they do business. The products are used in buildings of all types, from residential spaces (around 40% of total sales), to datacenters (over 10%), other non-residential spaces including offices, hotels, and healthcare facilities (40%), and industrial buildings and infrastructure (less than 10%).

For the fourth year in succession, Legrand is part of the recently released 2018 edition of the Global 100 most sustainable corporation’s index. To establish the ranking, a total of 7 425 businesses from all sectors of the economy were analysed according to a set of 17 key performance indicators combining financial performance and CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) performance.
