‘Aidea’ comes from the Latin phrase, “a idea ad esse”, which means, “from ideas to reality”. The company started as a local office for a British architectural firm, RMJM in 1995 with 15 staffs. And in 2003, Aidea became an all-Filipino design firm with a goal of leading the design industry in local market and penetrate the international design arena.
In 25 years of existence, Aidea have provided design and technology solutions for companies local and overseas. Their work is found in 90 cities in 60 countries spanning 5 continents. With over 800 projects to date, they have worked on a diverse range of typologies: from corporate offices and commercial centers, to industrial complexes and masterplanned communities, residential and mixed-use buildings and leisure facilities.
Aidea is recognized worldwide as a frontrunner and expert on Virtual Design and Construction (VDC), the first Asian practice to embrace the leading-edge technology in 2005. Based on the desire to advance innovation and to drive digital transformation, Aidea established its technology arm, Aidea Technologies, to provide custom-designed, cross-border Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) solutions providing VDC migration, integration and documentation, and automation and customization expertise to clients across the globe.
As Aidea expands its technology business, the firm continues to develop in-depth knowledge and expertise in automation and software integration.
Aidea is based in Manila with offices in Clark Global City and Abu Dhabi, UAE. They have a subsidiary in Denmark for the Virtual Reality (VR) and co-creation services.
