DLN is one of the most versatile architectural practices in Asia. Founded in Hong Kong in 1972, DLN has designed a number of the world’s tallest, largest and most complex buildings in each decade from the 1970s to the present.
DLN Architects Limited, DLN, was established in Hong Kong in 1972 at the time of the territory’s transition into a modern cosmopolitan city.
Since that time the firm has been fully engaged in the market, first in Hong Kong, then as a pioneering architect in the Mainland of China, and now as an established international architectural practice with over 400 professional and supporting personnel.
DLN’s projects are emblematic of Hong Kong’s energy and resourcefulness. Hong Kong, with its high development intensity and demanding commercial environment, has proved to be a superb incubator of innovation, giving rise to DLN commissions of great scale and complexity and several of the world’s tallest buildings. The stringent demands of Hong Kong have provided solid preparation for entry into non-domestic markets.
DLN is currently handling major commissions in Eastern Europe, the Middle-East, various South, Central and East-Asian countries, and throughout Mainland China. Outside of Hong Kong the company maintains permanent branch offices in Abu Dhabi, Shenzhen and Beijing. DLN’s practice covers most building types, ranging from luxury hotels and apartments to office campuses, super-tall buildings, convention centres, university buildings, hospitals, industrial structures and logistics centres.
Very large composite urban developments, that add value to office, retail, residential, hotel and transport functions through combining them, are an important specialization. DLN offers market-oriented solution, both practical and aesthetic to meet the clients' needs.
