1910: Lee Byung Chul was born in South Gyeyongsang, Korea.
1931: graduated in Waseda University, Japan.
1938: founded Samsung Trading Company, and then 1951 founded Samsung Corporation.
1964: established Samsung Scholarship.

1961-1987: chairman of Samsung Corporation until he died.
