Indian Army personnel set two new world records in motorcycle riding

Two Indian army personnel in central Madhya Pradesh state on Friday (Sep 09) created world records for longest motorcycle riding on the two-wheeler’s seat and handle bar.

Captain Manpreet Singh created the world record for the ‘longest continuous ride standing on the seat of a motorcycle’ for 75.2 kilometers within the duration of 2 hours 24 minutes and 12 seconds. The previous world record of 32.3 kilometers is held by Ratnesh Pandey from Indore city of the province.

Singh, while talking to media persons, said his initials target was to complete 35 kilometers, but after completing the feat, he decided to ride up to 75 kilometers.

Meanwhile, a world record for ‘handle bar riding on a motorcycle’ was introduced by Havildar, Sandeep Kumar, who covered a distance of 46.9 kilometers in 1 hour 27 minutes and 31 seconds to set the new record.
