At this meeting, World Records Union (WorldKings) awarded World Record Certificate to three individuals with outstanding achievement in many different fields.

1. Record Holder Vu Duc Dong - Possessing the Tue Sam yellow apricot tree collection with the world’s most number of national records for unique shape

Apricot blossom is a special plant that only blooms in the spring in Vietnam. The collection of 10 yellow apricot trees was set national records for unique shape. In which, Tue Sam - a gilded apricot tree, is the main tree symbolizing the Parental love. In particular, Tue Sam symbolically has roots in shape of 9 dragons and 9 branches in shape of Mekong River’s branches flowing into the sea.

Furthermore, this collection also has other 9 apricot trees which were set national records for its unique shape. These 9 apricot trees represent 9 dragons who submit to the main apricot tree like the 9 children in a family who always gather with their parents, creating a world record image of Parental love.

Dr. Le Doan Hop – Former Minister of the Information and Communications, Chairman of Vietnam Record-Setting Council (lelfmost) and Dr - Lawyer Nguyen Van Vien - Director of Vietnam Intellectual Property Institute,  Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Records Association (far right) awarded the World Record Certificate to Record Holder Vu Duc Dong.

2. Record Holder Pham S - The world’s first scientist who created and successfully implemented the scientific technique of selection and clonal propagation of the LD 034 avocado  

The pioneering scientific researches of Mr.Pham S that have created a groundbreaking new technology in fruit varieties. These scientific researches aim to conserve precious genes, contribute to sustainable development, adapt to climate change and  international integration, while creating high-value products for consumption and export. 

Mr. Pham S is also a scientist who has many outstanding applied scientific works, contributing to Vietnam's high-tech agriculture in global value chain.

Under the authorization of the World Records Union (WorldKings), the Vietnam Record Association awarded World Record Certificate to Record Holder Pham S.

3. Dr – Record Holder Nguyen Van Xang – A doctor owns the world’s largest pen collection comes in all shapes, sizes and materials

From 1995 until now, Doctor - Record holder Nguyen Van Xang has collected various unique pens and created  a special collection with the number display up to 4473 pens.

Doctor - Record holder Nguyen Van Xang, currently working at Khanh Hoa General Hospital, started collecting pens in November 1995 when he went to study in Germany. From a bizarre pen shape, the Doctor - Record holder Nguyen Van Xang came up to the idea of creating a collection with variety special pens.

All these bizarre and unique pens have created special collection with the total number items up to 4473 pens. 

Doctor – Record Holder Nguyen Van Xang was honored to receive World Record Certificate for possessing the world’s largest pen collection comes in all shapes, sizes and materials. 

The collection consists of 4473 pens collected by Doctor Nguyen Van Xang for nearly 30 years. Pens are classified according to many different groups of objects and uses such as: Pens used by world leaders and politicians; Pens used in International Conferences; Pens have the shape of medical instruments – sports equipments ….; Pens have the shape of fruit, food, animal, wine bottle,ect.

On 22nd Februrary 2022, at the 45th Meeting of Vietnamese Record Holders, under the authorization of the World Records Union (WorldKings), the Central Broad of Vietnam Records Organization awarded World Record Certificate to Record Holder Vu Duc Dong, Dr – Record Holder Pham S, and Doctor – Record Holder Nguyen Van Xang to honored the contribution of Vietnamese individuals and units to the world record community.
