Each year, WIPO and its member countries celebrate World Intellectual Property Day with many activities, events and campaigns. These activities aim to increase public understanding of the true meaning of intellectual property and the role of the intellectual property system in developing not only music, arts and entertainment but also in all product and technology innovations help change the world.
The goal of World Intellectual Property Day is to raise awareness about the impact of inventions, copyrights, trademarks, industrial designs, ... on daily life; Increasing understanding of the role of protection of intellectual property rights in promoting and encouraging creativity and innovation.

World Intellectual Property Day is a great opportunity to draw the attention of the public as well as the media to issues related to intellectual property. From 2001 to now, on April 26 every year, the World Intellectual Property Organization and its member countries have celebrated Intellectual Property Day with many meaningful activities.
