A defining feature of "Vuon Tinh Yeu - Prem Ki Surdhara" is the contribution of Prof. Dr. Chu Bao Que - a World Record Holder, Vietnamese Folk Artist, and the film's conceptualiser, who also stars in the lead role. Inspired by a vision to introduce Vietnam's rich cultural heritage to international audiences, he collaborated with artists and filmmakers from Vietnam and India to create a cinematic work that celebrates cultural exchange, mutual understanding, and the shared values of the two nations.

As the Ambassador of the Indo-Vietnam Cultural Heritage Programme, Prof. Dr. Chu Bao Que has played an active role over the years in promoting cultural cooperation between Vietnam and India through a wide range of initiatives. The premiere of "Vuon Tinh Yeu - Prem Ki Surdhara" on WAVES OTT, the streaming platform of Prasar Bharati, India's national public service broadcaster, marks another important milestone in this ongoing journey, reinforcing efforts to preserve cultural heritage while fostering deeper understanding and stronger people-to-people ties between the two countries.

The official launch ceremony was held in New Delhi, bringing together senior government officials, diplomats, cultural leaders, filmmakers, artists, and distinguished guests from both Vietnam and India. Among the dignitaries were Mr. Kailash Vijayvargiya, Minister of Parliamentary Affairs of Madhya Pradesh, and Mr. Gaurav Dwivedi, Chief Executive Officer of Prasar Bharati , Dr. Biswaroop Roy Chowdhury, President of the World Records Union (WorldKings); Mrs. Neerja Roy Chowdhury, Editor-in-Chief of the India Book of Records (IBR). The event was also attended by senior representatives of Prasar Bharati and WAVES OTT, advisers to the India Book of Records (IBR), officials from the Embassy of Vietnam in India, as well as prominent figures from the cultural, media, and creative sectors of both countries.

Representing Vietnam at the ceremony was a distinguished delegation of cultural leaders and record-holding representatives, including Prof. Dr. Chu Bao Que, World Record Holder, Vietnamese Folk Artist, and Folk Artisan of Vietnam; Dr. Nguyen Hoang Anh (Julia), Secretary General of the World Records Union (WorldKings) and Permanent Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Records Organization (VietKings); Artist Chu Thuy Hang, Head of the Vietnam UNESCO Folk Arts Troupe; and Artist Nguyen Thu Trang, Deputy Head of the Vietnam UNESCO Folk Arts Troupe.

In his address at the launch ceremony, Prof. Dr. Chu Bao Que said: "For me, this is more than a film premiere. It is an opportunity for the cultures of Vietnam and India to come together, engage in dialogue, and share their enduring values through the universal language of art. Inspired by the heritage of Vietnam's Quan Ho folk songs, Vuon Tinh Yeu - Prem Ki Surdhara tells a story of love for humanity, for cultural heritage, and for the bonds between civilizations. I believe cinema will continue to serve as a bridge connecting our two peoples, helping preserve and promote traditional cultural values while strengthening the enduring friendship between Vietnam and India. As part of the cultural exchange programme, members of the Vietnamese delegation also participated in a series of cultural activities, including training Indian schoolchildren in traditional Vietnamese dance. In addition to the film premiere, the event featured vibrant performances by Vietnamese and Indian artists and students, celebrating the rich cultural heritage of both nations while promoting friendship, mutual understanding, and people-to-people connections.

Beyond the messages of cultural exchange highlighted during the ceremony, Vuon Tinh Yeu - Prem Ki Surdhara represents another significant milestone within the broader India–Vietnam Cultural Heritage Program. Earlier, the English-language biography Chu Bao Que - Guardian of Heritage was authored by Dr. Biswaroop Roy Chowdhury, Chairman of the World Records Union (WorldKings), to honor the lifelong dedication of Prof. Dr. Chu Bao Que-a World Record Holder and renowned Vietnamese folk artist, to preserving and promoting Vietnam's traditional folk arts. Published by Diamond Pocket Books, one of India's leading publishing houses, the book marked an important step in introducing Vietnam's cultural heritage to international readers while fostering stronger cultural ties between India and Vietnam.

Building upon the impact of the publication, Vuon Tinh Yeu - Prem Ki Surdhara was produced under the direction of Biswadeep Roy Chowdhury, with Vimal Mishra serving as Director of Photography (DOP). Inspired by the traditional Vietnamese Quan họ folk singing heritage, the film follows the journey of a young woman from the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh who travels to Hanoi in search of Vietnam's cultural traditions, artistic legacy, and human values. Through the language of cinema, the film celebrates the shared spirit of two ancient civilizations, emphasizing the power of art to connect people, preserve cultural heritage, and deepen the enduring friendship between Vietnam and India.

The official release of Vuon Tinh Yeu - Prem Ki Surdhara on the WAVES OTT platform marks not only the successful completion of an international co-production but also a meaningful opportunity to introduce Vietnam's traditional cultural heritage to wider global audiences. More importantly, it stands as a testament to the growing effectiveness of cultural collaboration between Vietnam and India, reinforcing mutual understanding and expanding bilateral cooperation through the universal language of art and heritage.
