Based on the world record nomination from Asian Records Institute (ASRI) and Decision No. WK/USA.INDIA/696/2021/No.153, World Records Union (WorldKings) officially declared Night Safari as “the world first nocturnal zoo” on May 22, 2021.
Night Safari is located at 80, Mandai Lake Road Singapore 729826, close to Singapore Zoo, River Safari and Jurong Bird Park. This location allows visitors to spend a full day from early morning until late at night to explore the wildlife of Singapore - a tiny country but full of natural colors.
The area of the night zoo is about 35 hectares, and is home to about 900 animals of 100 different species, including 41 endangered species such as Anoa, Dhole, Malayan tiger,...
This is one of the most attractive destinations in Singapore. At the Night Safari, you can see rhinos with your own eyes, hear the howls of hyenas or watch giraffe girls gliding calmly through the vast grounds in the tranquil atmosphere of the park night.
The park has moats and nets. The island electric fence ensures safety for visitors. However, modern safety measures do not take away the mystery of this huge forest. The zoo is open from 7:15pm to 12pm, with last entry at 11:15pm, open weekdays unless specifically advised.
Admission is S$49 for adults and S$33 for children. There are many ways to get to the Night Safari. The cost of a taxi from the city center is about 20-25 Singapore dollars. Otherwise, you can choose public transport to save money.
