The largest Buddhism flag made of fresh flower

(Worldkings) - On the morning of March 23rd , 2015; in Kim Lien Pagoda (Dong Huong Commune, Ninh Binh Province); there was the Memorial Ceremony for the Founder of Kim Lien Pagoda, simultaneously conferring the World Record Certificate “The largest Buddhist flag made of fresh flower”.

The largest Buddhist flag made of fresh flower was created completely by the first idea of Ven. Thich Tho Lac - the Mastermonk of Kim Lien Pagoda, Dong Dac Pagoda, Yen Phu Pagoda with the support and help of Buddhists. The flag has a size of 15x4m, which is the Vesak Day (Buddha’s Birthday). The five colors of the flag represent the solidarity and unity of the Buddhism in the five continents. It made from 255,800 fresh flowers include: daisies, Flamingo flowers, France carnations, Ping Pong flowers - symbolizing Buddhist calendar year 2558. The flag was created and recognized as a Vietnam Record and Asia Record on the occasion of Vesak United Nations 2014 organized in Ninh Binh Province on May 5th, 2014.
