Sun World Vung Tau is a 15-hectare themed water park located in the heart of Blanca City, Vung Tau, developed by Sun Group. The project forms part of the group’s long-term strategy to build an integrated ecosystem of tourism, entertainment and resort destinations across Vietnam’s high-potential coastal markets.
Completed in just over seven months under an accelerated construction schedule, Sun World Vung Tau Aqua Adventure is organized into four themed zones that reinterpret layers of Eastern and Western cultural heritage. Visitors journey through environments inspired by a southern floating market, historic European maritime trade routes, the legacy of the Oc Eo–Phu Nam civilizations, and legends rooted in the untamed wilderness.

Opening just ahead of the Tet holiday, the park is expected to emerge as a major entertainment hub, catering to heightened travel and leisure demand during Southern Vietnam’s peak holiday season.
In addition to its thematic design, the park operates on a flexible day-to-night model. By day, it functions as a full-scale water park, while in the evening it transitions into a seaside entertainment and dining hub, a strategy aimed at extending visitor engagement and lengthening stays.

The park features more than 20 water attractions designed for a wide range of age groups and thrill levels, from family-oriented play zones to high-adrenaline rides incorporating rapid acceleration, sharp turns and powerful water effects, offering a broad and immersive entertainment experience.
Among these attractions, two water-based works stand out for being recognized with record-breaking titles at both national and global levels.
Aqua Warriors Battle at Sun World Vung Tau is a Rally Racer water slide system comprising 10 parallel and fully independent racing lanes. The attraction incorporates a breakaway lane design, allowing riders to separate, rejoin, and pursue one another throughout the course, thereby enhancing the competitive racing dynamic. While the central and outer lanes feature diverse sliding profiles, their lengths are nearly equal, encouraging participants to experiment with racing strategies to identify the fastest route. With a total combined sliding length of over 1,094 meters, the attraction integrates a dedicated digital timing and scoring system, enabling real-time competition management and rapid result display at the finish line, where all lanes converge. This integrated design delivers a highly engaging competitive experience while maximizing spectator interaction and event transparency.

Adventure Oasis is a RocketBLAST-powered water coaster featuring double inner tubes, with a total track length of 100.22 meters, installed at Sun World Vung Tau. The attraction is specifically designed as a kid-oriented experience, with a minimum height requirement of 91 cm. The ride incorporates a combined enclosed-tube and open-flume slide configuration, ensuring smooth transitions through curves and elevation changes. Powered water propulsion enables stable movement throughout the course, delivering a continuous, engaging, and exploratory ride experience suitable for younger guests.

Beyond the two world records, the park also features a range of large-scale attractions, including a 348-meter water coaster, a 400-meter challenge river, a Twist ’n’ Splash attraction within the Sun World system, a giant Ridehouse complex, a 6,000-square-meter wave pool, and a lazy river stretching up to 650 meters.
All attractions are supplied and operated in partnership with leading global manufacturers including ProSlide, WhiteWater West and Mack Rides - companies with more than four decades of experience designing and producing water rides for major theme parks such as Disneyland and Universal.
In parallel with its ride portfolio, Sun World Vung Tau has developed a fully integrated ecosystem of modern amenities, featuring indoor and outdoor buffet restaurants, a range of dining outlets and service facilities designed to accommodate thousands of visitors each day, supporting a seamless experience that combines recreation, relaxation and dining.
The opening ceremony was attended by representatives of the World Records Union (WorldKings), including Dr. Biswaroop Roy Chowdhury, Chairman of World Records Union (WorldKings), and Dr. Nguyen Hoang Anh, Secretary General of World Records Union (WorldKings) cum Vice Chairwoman of Vietnam Records Organization (VietKings).

Located within the 97-hectare Blanca City coastal urban development, Sun World Vung Tau Aqua Adventure introduces a large-scale beachfront entertainment destination in the heart of the city. The project offers new leisure options for both residents and visitors and represents Sun Group’s first operational development in the Ho Chi Minh City metropolitan area.

Beyond its recreational role, the park is positioned as a cultural bridge that celebrates Southern heritage while contributing to the emergence of an international-standard entertainment ecosystem in central Vung Tau. It forms part of a broader strategy to establish the city as a leading marine tourism hub in line with national development plans.
Following its inauguration, the park will operate throughout the Lunar New Year holiday with a spring-themed program. More than 10,000 coconut trees and an equivalent number of blooming flowers shape the seasonal landscape, alongside a continuous schedule of entertainment and culinary activities designed to activate the destination from day to night during the peak holiday period.
