( On May 20, 2023, teacher Nguyen Nguyet Nga was officially awarded the World Record Certificate by World Records Union (Worldkings) for her innovative method of teaching Finger math.

Ms. Nguyen Nguyet Nga (born July 20, 1987) is from Hanoi, Vietnam. Teachers have extensive experience in teaching and have put a lot of effort into improving the effectiveness of students' math learning.

Mr. Biswaroop Roy Chowdhury - Chairman of the World Records Union, Dr. Le Doan Hop - Chairman of the Establishment Council of the Vietnam Records Organization (VietKings), and Prof. Hoang Quang Thuan - Co-Founder of Vietnam Records Organization awarded the World Record Certificate to Mrs. Nguyen Nguyet Nga.

In recent years, two Thinking Math methods, Soroban and Finger Math, have grown in popularity in Vietnam, although they still have shortcomings that are unsuitable for Vietnamese students and can be improved. This topic's research and recommended approach is the way of calculating with the finger crease on the left hand, which is consistent with the characteristics of writing with the right hand among Vietnamese students. The pupils write with their right hand, while their left hand performs computations through conventionally numbered finger creases and outputs the answers.

On the occasion of the 52nd Vietnamese Record Holders Meeting, held on May 20, 2023, in Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam), Record holder Nguyen Nguyet Nga was honored to receive a World Record Certificate for being the world's first teacher to research, improve, and successfully apply the bilingual program of magic thinking Finger Math by using left hand's "finger creases" to perform the following virtual calculations: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, exponent
