On September 26, 2026, at the 55th Meeting of Record Holders at the 272 Vo Thi Sau Convention Center, Xuan Hoa Ward, Ho Chi Minh City, WorldKings officially presented two World Records to Lam Dong Tea Joint Stock Company – DOIDEP. Both records were established through activities held as part of WORLD T.E.A FEST 2025, following their previous recognition as Vietnamese Records. After a process of assessment and verification, the World Record Union officially recognized the achievements at the global level.

A diverse tea festival combining culture, art, commerce, diplomacy, and tea experiences

The two World Records are associated with major activities of WORLD T.E.A FEST 2025, held in Lam Dong Province as an international festival bringing together cultural, artistic, commercial, diplomatic and experiential activities centered on tea.

WORLD T.E.A FEST 2025

Held from November 11 to December 7, 2025, with its main program taking place from December 5 to 7, the festival featured a diverse series of activities, including Tea Gallery, Tea Connect, Tea Expo, Tea Summit, Tea Carnival, Tea Fest, Tea Travel, Tea Talk and Gen Tea. Together, these programs explored different dimensions of the tea industry, from tea culture, production regions and tea preparation to exhibitions, trade, international exchange and tea experiences.

1,111 female tea ceremony performers recreate the beauty of Vietnamese tea culture

The first World Record was officially awarded to Lam Dong Tea Joint Stock Company – DOIDEP for :

“The synchronized tea brewing and tea offering performance in the style of ‘Vietnamese Tea Ritual’ at a tea plantation, featuring the world’s largest number of female tea ceremony performers (1,111 participants).”

The record-setting performance took place on the morning of November 30, 2025, at Thuy Ngoc Tea Plantation in Bao Loc City, Lam Dong Province, with the participation of 1,111 female tea ceremony performers.

Set against the landscape of a tea plantation, the performers simultaneously carried out a series of tea brewing and tea offering movements in the style of the “Vietnamese Tea Ritual,” creating a large-scale performance that combined ceremonial gestures, music, coordinated formations and traditional costumes.

The performance was accompanied by the musical composition Vu Khuc Tam Thanh, featuring traditional Vietnamese instruments such as the dan tranh zither, bamboo flute, dan bau monochord, and dan nhi two-string fiddle. The musical arrangement followed the sequence of tea preparation, from the initial preparation to the raising and offering of the tea cup.

The synchronized and measured movements recreated the elegance, attentiveness, and contemplative spirit associated with Vietnamese tea culture, while presenting the traditional tea ritual in a large-scale contemporary performance.

88 Miss Cosmo beauty queens and representatives join WORLD T.E.A FEST 2025

The second World Record was officially awarded to Lam Dong Tea Joint Stock Company – DOIDEP for :

“Organizing and hosting WORLD T.E.A FEST 2025, featuring a diverse series of tea industry activities, with the world’s largest number of beauty queens and beauty representatives from various countries of Miss Cosmo participating in the festival’s key activities.”

WORLD T.E.A FEST 2025 welcomed 88 beauty queens and beauty representatives from the Miss Cosmo competition, representing countries and territories worldwide. They accompanied and participated in key activities throughout the festival, including Tea Carnival, Tea Art Fest and Tea Culture.

Their participation added an international dimension to the festival, creating opportunities for cultural exchange and introducing Vietnamese tea culture to an international audience through artistic performances, cultural activities, and tea-related experiences.

Through its extensive program, WORLD T.E.A FEST 2025 brought together different aspects of the tea industry while creating a platform where tea could serve as a connection between culture, commerce, diplomacy, tourism, and international exchange.

WORLD T.E.A FEST 2025: Bringing Vietnamese tea culture to the international stage

WORLD T.E.A FEST 2025 was developed as a platform to celebrate Vietnamese tea heritage while connecting the tea industry with international cultural and economic activities. The festival highlighted tea-growing regions, traditional tea-making practices and the art of tea appreciation, while creating opportunities for interaction among tea producers, artisans, brands, beauty representatives and international guests.

The recognition of the two World Records further documents two distinctive aspects of the festival.
