Founded in 1992, the BHPA has played a vital role in promoting safe flying practices and setting high training standards. With thousands of members and dozens of affiliated clubs, the association ensures that pilots and instructors receive proper guidance, technical support, and continuous development. FlySpain meets strict requirements in both training quality and safety, thanks to certification from such a respected organization.

What truly makes FlySpain special is its people. With more than 25 years of experience teaching in Andalucía, the school’s instructors are not just teachers but skilled pilots who understand real flying conditions in both the UK and Europe. Their friendly approach and strong mentorship help students feel confident and supported from day one.

FlySpain also provides top-quality equipment for every student. From modern gliders by leading brands like Gin, Ozone, and Advance to durable harnesses from Woody Valley and Sup Air, everything is carefully selected and regularly inspected. Students are even equipped with reserve parachutes from the beginning, ensuring maximum safety during training.

In addition, the school offers excellent training facilities, including a private site at Ronda La Vieja and dedicated areas for ground handling and beginner practice. With a well-structured syllabus, students gain the skills needed to fly independently, whether back home in the UK or in alpine conditions.
