Held on the morning of September 21, 2024, the event celebrated the proud journey of the Vietnam Records Organization (VietKings) and its record-holding community. It also marked the first time the World Records Union (WorldKings) presented the GRAND RECORDS – SYMBOL OF EXCELLENCE, recognizing the enduring contributions of distinguished record holders worldwide. 

The 54th Convocation of Vietnamese Record holders held in Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam

Eleven record holders received the inaugural GRAND RECORDS – SYMBOL OF EXCELLENCE from the World Records Union (WorldKings), including:

1. WORLD RECORD HOLDER, DR. JAYASREE VENUGOPAL

Dr. Jayasree Venugopal is a talented digital artist from India, drawing inspiration from the moral philosophies. Since 2001, she has held over 25 solo exhibitions in galleries and on digital platforms. She was honored by the India Book of Records in 2015 as "The first person to conduct an online digital painting exhibition." In 2016, she was recognized by the Asia Book of Records for exhibiting 16 digital paintings on a canvas in India. She was also listed among the "Top Outstanding Indian Record Holders" at the World Record Holders Convocation 2024 in New Delhi.

2. DR., RECORD HOLDER SMT. K. BHAVANI

Dr. SMT. K. Bhavani is a prominent figure in teaching and cultural dissemination online. She holds 3 Indian Records and 1 Asian Record. In 2024, she set an Indian Record for the Maximum videos on spiritual discourse uploaded on YouTube (5,699 videos). In 2025, she was honored with two more Indian Records: Maximum shorts on spiritual discourses uploaded on YouTube by an individual (1,054 videos) and Maximum sessions of a spiritual gathering streamed live on YouTube (603 sessions). This latter achievement was also recognized as the Asian Record for the Maximum sessions of a spiritual gathering streamed live on YouTube.

Her achievements attest to her persistent effort and wide-ranging influence in spreading knowledge and spiritual values. Through works like the YouTube channel Sanatana Dharma Pravachanalu and two Carnatic music albums, she has brought Indian culture, particularly the Telugu language and traditional music, to millions. Dr. SMT. K. Bhavani Rao's Indian and Asian Records affirm her status as a pioneering scholar and artist in the digital age.

3. WORLD RECORD HOLDER ACHARYA MANISH (MANISH GROVER) - Founder of the HIIMS Hospital System

World Record HolderManish Grover is an Ayurvedic doctor and motivational speaker who champions prevention over cure. He has dedicated over 35 years to integrated medicine. With his profound knowledge, Dr. Manish Grover has transformed many lives through holistic treatments using ancient natural products. His mission is to promote the benefits of Ayurveda. He is the founder of the HIIMS Hospital System - the World's Largest Integrated Medical Sciences Hospital & Institute, featuring 1,000 beds on an 11-hectare campus and offering comprehensive services including Postural Medicine, Zero Volt Therapy, Water Therapy, and more. His network of integrated hospitals and clinics currently includes 55 hospitals and 110 specialized clinics. He has become an emblematic pioneer of public health, harmonizing traditional knowledge with modern science.

4. PROF., PRIEST, WORLD RECORD HOLDER TA HUY HOANG - General Administrator of the Catholic Institute of Vietnam

With over 25 years of unwavering dedication to religious life, teaching, research, and authorship, World Record Holder, Fr. Joseph Ta Huy Hoang has produced numerous monumental collections of books in both English and Vietnamese. These works embody profound academic and pastoral significance, recognized with six Vietnam Records and two World Records. In recognition of these outstanding contributions, Fr. Joseph Ta Huy Hoang has been conferred an Honorary Doctorate by the World Records University (WRU) and awarded the Golden Plate of Dedication by the World Record Content Academy (WRCA).

Prof. Dr., Priest, World Record Holder Ta Huy Hoang has diligently compiled massive research works to serve the Catholic Church of Vietnam, culture, and society. His work "LAGAM: 25 years looking back..." is particularly notable. He is a shining example of devoted effort, a life dedicated to learning, and tireless contribution.

5. RECORD HOLDER NGUYEN QUANG MAU - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Association of Building Materials, Chairman of the Board of Directors of VIETNAMESE CERAMIC JOINT STOCK COMPANY (Gom Dat Viet)

With intellect, courage, and over 45 years of dedicated experience, Labor Hero, Honorary Professor – Doctor, World Record Holder Nguyen Quang Mau has established Gom Dat Viet as a pioneering force in Vietnam's clay brick/tile and high-end ceramics industry. Under his distinguished leadership, from 2020 until now, Gom Dat Viet has established 27 Vietnam Records and 05 World Records. Notably, in 2022, his immense contributions were recognized with the title of Honorary Professor by the World Records University (WRU). Gom Dat Viet's sustainable success, driven by the collective creativity and his strategic vision, affirms its position as a leading enterprise and a source of national pride in the international fired clay industry.

6. ENTREPRENEUR, HONORARY DOCTOR, WORLD RECORD HOLDER TRAN VAN MUOI

World Record Holder Tran Van Muoi is known as a successful entrepreneur, dedicated artist, and philanthropist, with numerous commendations for his significant contributions to society and the community. He is the author of two influential poetic works: "Descendants of the Hung Kings Worldwide" - adapted into 18 musical forms and honored with records at the national, Global Vietnamese, Asian, and world levels - and "Joining Hands to Build a Green Earth" - translated and set to music in multiple languages, conveying a message of peace and earning two additional international records. With enduring values and wide-reaching influence, Record Holder Tran Van Muoi exemplifies the model of an entrepreneur-artist, promoting Vietnamese culture globally.

7. DR., ENTREPRENEUR, WORLD RECORD HOLDER HUYNH KY TRAN - Chairman of the Member Board of Lan Hao Cosmetics Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (Thorakao)

Dr., Traditional Medicine Doctor Huynh Ky Tran is a distinguished scientist–physician and researcher. As Chairman of the Member Board of Thorakao, he has played a crucial role in inventing and developing natural product lines, ensuring THORAKAO's sustained success for nearly 65 years. His contributions, including valuable inventions and patents in essential oil extraction, have been honored with National, Asian, and World Records, along with the Golden Plate for Creativity and Dedication awarded by the World Records Union (Worldkings) and the World Records Institute (WorldMark).

8. COLLECTOR, WORLD RECORD HOLDER DAO XUAN TINH - Head of the Global Vietnamese World Record Holders Club

World Record Holder Dao Xuan Tinh has dedicated over 40 years to collecting and cultural preservation. His unparalleled collection of over 300 vintage Peugeot bicycles (35 to 120 years old) has earned official recognition at every level: Vietnam, Indochina, Asia, and the World. He also holds a Vietnam Record and a Global Vietnamese Record for his collection of over 300 antique sewing machines manufactured before 1955. Beyond collecting, he actively promotes Vietnamese heritage through Ao Dai parades around Hoan Kiem Lake. In 2020, his lifelong passion was formally acknowledged when the World Record Content Academy (WRCA) presented him with the prestigious Golden Plate of Dedication.

9. ENTREPRENEUR, WORLD RECORD HOLDER PHAM THI MAI HOA - Director of Hanoi Fine Arts Construction Co., Ltd.

For over 20 years in fine arts construction and monumental sculpture, Entrepreneur, World Record Holder Pham Thi Mai Hoa has created numerous works of historical, cultural, and spiritual significance, establishing Vietnam, Asian, and World Records. Notable projects include Dong Pagoda (Yen Tu) and the Great Statue of Emperor-Monk Tran Nhan Tong, which contribute to promoting national spiritual landmarks. In 2017, her enterprise was awarded a World Record as the private company that has constructed, restored, and renovated the largest number of national cultural and artistic works. In 2022, she established an Asian Record for the monumental monolithic driftwood sculpture “Long Van Khanh Hoi,” depicting the Eastern Dragon, certified as a unique Asian work of art.

10. MAJOR GENERAL, RECORD HOLDER VU CAO QUAN - Former Commander of the Military Command of Can Tho City, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hoa Hao General Hospital - Can Tho Medic 

Major General, Record Holder Vu Cao Quan (born 1954) is the Former Deputy Chief of Staff of Military Region 9 and Former Commander of the Can Tho City Military Command. He is currently the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hoa Hao General Hospital – Medic Can Tho. His more than 40 years of military service are marked by numerous outstanding accomplishments recognized by the Party, the State, and the Army. Despite being over 70, he continues to serve as a vital link between sponsors and communities for charitable and social activities. Notably, he initiated and organized the annual "Tet Quan - Dan" (Tet of the Army and the People) model in Can Tho City for the past 18 years.

11. VETERAN, ENTREPRENEUR, RECORD HOLDER TRINH TRONG GIU - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dong Hai Industrial Economic Group

As the leader of the Dong Hai Industrial Economic Group since 2011, combined with 53 years of military service, Veteran, Entrepreneur, Record Holder Trinh Trong Giu has made significant contributions by sponsoring the construction of historically and culturally significant projects that were honored with national records. These include the Trinh Clan Ancestral Hall Complex and the Memorial House – Temple of President Ho Chi Minh. Additionally, in 2025, he was awarded two personal Vietnam Records by VietKings wtih his collections and artworks.

The presentation of the GRAND RECORDS – SYMBOL OF EXCELLENCE to 11 distinguished record holders served not only as recognition of their outstanding achievements but also as a tribute to more than two decades of dedication and perseverance. These honorees represent individuals who have gone far beyond setting records; they have carried a broader mission of service, using their talents, knowledge, and influence to benefit their communities and inspire others. Their contributions highlight the spirit of responsibility and commitment that transcends personal success, reaffirming the values of innovation, cultural enrichment, and social impact. By honoring them with this inaugural distinction, the World Records Union (WorldKings) emphasized that record holders are not merely keepers of extraordinary accomplishments, but also torchbearers of inspiration and service to society at large.
