The Lotus, known as Vietnam's national flower, is an exceptional emblem of powerful living demand, beauty in dignity and Vietnamese people's traditional culture. Lotus is a priceless gift from nature to the world in general, and to Vietnam in particular.
With a burning, intense love and passion for this special flower, Record holder Nguyen Thi Thanh Tam - President of the Vietnam Cultural Heritage Association - has spent a significant amount of time and effort collecting hundreds of artifacts related to the Lotus and associated with Vietnamese cultural life.
The "Lotus in Vietnamese Cultural Life" theme collection currently contains 433 artifacts, including more than 258 artistic lotus photos, lotus paintings in materials such as oil paint, lacquer, gems, ceramic paintings, and hundreds of artifacts associated with lotus images, such as vases, utensils, decorations with lotus motifs; 106 vases, lotus memorabilia, and 69 calligraphy and couplets about lotus.
The unique aspect is that in over 20 years of collecting, Record holder Nguyen Thi Thanh Tam has arranged numerous large and small exhibitions, helping to disseminate the image of the lotus as well as the image of the country and people of Vietnam around the world.
