According to the organizers, approximately 24,000 people gathered on the morning of May 24 to take part in the large-scale educational and fitness event. In addition to performing the exercise routine together, participants also practiced the “Seven Habits of Great Indonesian Children” and recited the Indonesian Student Pledge.

The event was attended by Indonesia’s Minister of Primary and Secondary Education, Abdul Mu'ti, along with education officials and community leaders. The program was designed to encourage students to develop physically, mentally, and morally while promoting positive values within the educational environment.
Students from numerous schools across the region participated in the synchronized exercise session. The activity created an energetic atmosphere as thousands of students performed the movements together, demonstrating coordination, enthusiasm, and community spirit.
For many participants, the event offered more than just a fitness activity. It also provided an opportunity to interact with peers from different schools, build friendships, and celebrate National Education Day in a memorable and engaging way.
Following official verification, MURI confirmed that the number of participants met the requirements for a national record, making it the largest Indonesian Great Children’s Exercise event ever conducted in the country.
The achievement highlights the growing emphasis on student well-being, character development, and physical education in Indonesia. It also reflects the commitment of educational institutions and local authorities to nurturing a healthy, disciplined, and capable younger generation prepared to contribute to the nation’s future development.
