This year's event carried the theme “Melestarikan Tradisi, Menguatkan Ukhuwah, Mengangkat Marwah Jember,” meaning “Preserving Tradition, Strengthening Brotherhood, Elevating Jember's Prestige.” The parade brought together participants from government agencies, community health centers, villages, and schools, who carried ancak filled with local agricultural products and traditional snacks.

According to MURI representative Ari Andriani, the official verification recorded a total of 527 ancak agung taking part in the parade. This surpassed the previous record of 449 ancak.

MURI explained that both achievements were recognized as world records because the event successfully highlighted and promoted Jember's local cultural heritage. Although the organizers had initially proposed a target of 1,000 ancak, MURI determined that an increase of at least 10% over the previous record of 449 ancak was sufficient to establish a new record, taking into consideration the relatively short preparation period for the event.

One of the major highlights was the 3.7-meter-tall ancak, constructed using 1,600 packages of suwar-suwir, equivalent to approximately 32,000 individual pieces. Suwar-suwir is a traditional snack associated with Jember, and its use in the structure combined local culinary heritage with a large-scale cultural presentation.

The event also featured a competition among participating groups. SMPN 6 Jember took first place, followed by Roxy Mall in second place and SMPN 2 Jember in third place.

Jember's regent emphasized that the achievement was not simply about breaking records, but about strengthening the spirit of togetherness and gotong royong, the Indonesian tradition of working collectively for the benefit of the community. The parade served as an opportunity for residents to preserve local traditions through a large-scale cultural celebration.

With 527 officially verified ancak agung and a 3.7-meter-tall ancak made from 1,600 packages, or approximately 32,000 pieces of suwar-suwir, the 2026 Kirab Pawai Budaya Ancak Agung earned two recognitions from MURI (Indonesian World Records Museum): the Tallest Ancak Made from Suwar-Suwir and the Largest Ancak Agung Parade.

Following the achievement, MURI issued a new challenge to the Jember Regency Government: increase participation to at least 1,000 ancak for the 2027 edition, paving the way for an even larger cultural celebration in the future.
