(worldkings.org) A glowing star stretching 100 feet high and 55 feet wide came to life as 3,973 participants gathered with lit candles in Andhra Pradesh, India. Officially recognized by the India Book of Records (IBR) on December 29, 2025, the event set the record for the Largest Human Formation of a Star Using Candles while delivering a powerful message of unity and hope.

Thousands of illuminated candles transformed an open space in Tanuku, Andhra Pradesh, into a spectacular display of light on December 15, 2025. Standing in carefully assigned positions, 3,973 participants joined together to create a massive star-shaped formation, earning recognition from the India Book of Records (IBR) for the Largest Human Formation of a Star Using Candles.

The record-setting initiative was organized by Origeti Manoj Bob, Chief Co-ordinator of the National Pastors Fellowship and President of the Tanuku Mandal Pastors Fellowship. The completed formation measured 100 feet in height and 55 feet in width, making it an impressive visual landmark when viewed from above. Each participant held a lit candle, collectively producing a brilliant outline that illuminated the night.

Beyond its remarkable scale, the event carried a meaningful purpose. The organizers envisioned the glowing star as a universal symbol of light overcoming darkness, encouraging communities to remain united and to spread hope, compassion, and positivity across society. Rather than focusing solely on breaking a record, the gathering sought to inspire people through a shared experience built around cooperation and optimism.

Executing the formation required extensive planning and coordination. Thousands of participants had to be positioned with precision to preserve the proportions of the star while ensuring that every candle remained visible. The combination of teamwork, organization, and synchronized participation was essential to the success of the event.

On December 29, 2025, the India Book of Records (IBR) officially confirmed the achievement. While the record celebrates the participation of 3,973 people in a single candlelit formation, its lasting significance lies in the message it conveyed. By bringing together thousands of individuals to create one radiant symbol, the event demonstrated how collective effort can turn a simple idea into a memorable expression of unity, hope, and the enduring power of light.
