Toro Verde Adventure Park is located in the town of Orocovis, about an hour and 45 minutes from San Juan and hidden between rolling mountains covered in dense forest. The area boasts some of the most breathtaking mountain views on the Island.
Since the park opened in 2009, its network of ziplines and suspension bridges has steadily expanded, and now includes two enormous ziplines, The Beast at nearly 1.5 kilometers and The Monster, the second longest zipline in the world, at 2.5 kilometers.
In 2021, Toro Verde Adventure Park has officially opened its newest attraction, ToroBike, a $1.2 million venture is the longest cable bike circuit in the world, at 322.25 meters long. It consists of four tree-shaped platforms. Riders can take in breathtaking views of Puerto Rico’s north coast while riding above the mountainous terrain. The circuit has capacity for four bikes simultaneously, which slide through four stations of different lengths.
By mid-2022, a second phase of the Toro Bike attraction will be completed, through an additional $1.5 million investment, he said. That project will add an outdoor dining area, serving bread baked on the premises, as well as coffee grown and roasted in Toro Verde.
