World’s Longest Maths Relay Race at the Championship

(WorldKings.org) On September 19, 2018 , 150 girls of UCMAS Academy set a new world record for the World’s Longest Maths Relay Race at the Championship, according to World Book of Records (WBR) and Asia Book of Records. Moreover, it took them only 26 minutes and 26 seconds.

UCMAS (Universal Concept of Mental Arithmetic System) is a unique whole brain development programme for children aged 4-12 years. The program pioneered by UCMAS in Asia in 1993.  Today there are over 5000 UCMAS centers in 80 countries like Malaysia, Canada, USA, Great Britain, Australia, Thailand, China, Kazakhstan and Middle Eastern countries. This highly effective program of a whole intellect development received recognition at the international level and it is taught in the secondary school in some countries. UCMAS help children to develop their brain-using abacus as a tool & basic arithmetic operations as a base for effective child brain building.

Every year the international Academy UCMAS organize wide-scale competitions in this discipline in the whole world where over 8000 young geniuses take parts in these events.  The rules of competitions state that students are to solve 200 math problems only for 8 minutes.

150 girls of UCMAS Academy have made 300 calculations at the UCMAS Mental Arithmetic Championship that was held on the opening day of the Second Eurasian Women’s Forum. It is notable that the youngest girl is only 5 years old.
